Barona remodeled their casino a few years ago. The extra space included allows for
plenty of table games and slot machines. The poker room area is really nice. It is
spacious and you don't feel like you're enclosed. One of the better poker rooms
at the Indian Casinos in the San Diego area.
Pechanga, in our opinion, is the best casino within one and a half hours from
San Diego. Yes, one and a half hours so that means it will be quite a drive
from San Diego if you plan on gambling at this casino. Plenty of table games, slots,
and a big poker room.
This is a fun casino to go to. Recently, they just expanded a section of their
casino. At night, they have lounges that feature live piano players and singers.
Drinks are relatively cheap (compared to downtown San Diego) and the environment
is always lively.
They feature an outlet mall that includes Nike and Guess outlets. They also have

One of the more popular and more talked about casino in the San Diego area. I played
in a poker tournament here once. The players were friendly but competitive. After the
tournament, I had a turkey sandwich that was really good.
