Review : Balboa Park of San Diego is one of America's largest urban cultural parks. This park features hiking and biking trails, museums, arts
and crafts, gardens with exotic plants, performing arts, and much, much more. Balboa Park is home to the Balboa Park Tennis Center, the San Diego
Zoo, and the Balboa Municipal Golf Course.
There is also a science center, a natural history museum, a japanese garden, a rose garden, a botanical garden, etc.
There is something for everyone here and the list of places to go goes on and on.
What is neat about this place is that many of the things you can do here is free. The buildings, ponds, and gardens
are all free to look at. The museums cost money to go into, but some let you go in free on certain days
of the week.
The japanese garden costs $3 to get in but it is worth the money. If you are lucky
there will be a volunteer there that will let you feed the koi fish by hand.
The rose garden and the botanical garden is also free. You can walk into the botanical garden
and see exotic carnivorus plants, strange looking cacti, or beautiful flowers.
The park is beautiful and is the perfect place to take a date to site see. If you are new to San Diego
Balboa Park is one of the places you have to go to experience what California has to offer.
